Super Relay Buddy

The Super Relay Buddy is the next-generation tester for 12-volt automotive relays. It applies a 7+ amp load to the relay and checks for excessive voltage drop, effectively finding bad relays. The improved test can identify intermittently failing relays by applying a full 7+ amp load. The tester provides three test results: Green/Pass, Red/Fail, and Yellow/Pass with caution. This greater coverage allows the tester to check seven different 12-volt relays on its own, with a fully automated 10-cycle test that verifies the condition of the relay.

It is important to note the tester coverage and compatibility. This product can test the relays displayed on the listing, so users should check their relay against the images and verify that it can be tested by the Super Relay Buddy. However, the tester can only handle relays with standard SAE wiring. Users should check the relay schematic displayed on the listing against the schematic on the relay they wish to test, as the Super Relay Buddy does not test relays with non-standard SAE wiring.

Additionally, the unit cannot test the special BMW/Mini relay with two 87 pins. An adapter is currently under development for this relay type.
