To use the Cooling System Pressure Test, simply choose a suitable adapter, screw it onto the radiator filler neck, connect the pressure tester, and pump the pressure to the recommended range of 10-15 psi. If the gauge reading moves, it indicates the presence of leaks in the cooling system.

For the Vacuum Purge and Refill process, first drain the coolant from the radiator. Then, hook the gauge underneath the car's hood, connect the shop air to the shop air connector, and attach the conical adapter or a suitable test cap onto the radiator filler neck. Turn on the air switch and air control valve, while keeping the coolant control valve off, to create a vacuum in the cooling system. Once the pressure falls within the -50 to -60 cmHg (-20 to -25 inHg) range, turn off the air control valve and air switch. Finally, connect the coolant hose to the coolant hose connector, place the hose in a container filled with pre-mixed new coolant, and turn on the coolant control valve to refill the system.
